La Fabrique Tinkler 1958 Steel

Sale price£39,800.00

The La Fabrique Tinkler 1958 Steel from Angelus revives one of the Maison’s rarest and most refined historical timepieces, paying tribute to the original 1958 edition through a faithful and elegantly restrained reinterpretation.

Crafted in stainless steel, the 38 mm case captures the clean proportions and understated sophistication characteristic of 1950s watchmaking. At 9 o’clock, the crown is balanced by a dedicated pusher activating the quarter repeater, a functional detail deeply rooted in the heritage of the original model. The screw-down caseback is finished with Angelus’s signature “A” monogram, reinforcing the watch’s discreet and timeless identity.

The subtly domed white sunburst dial preserves the distinctive character of the original design, featuring faceted hour markers and a modernist numeral 12 at noon. At 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, exclamation-shaped markers reference the acoustic rhythm of the quarter repeater, adding both historical depth and visual distinction to the display.

Paired with a warm saddle brown alligator flank leather strap and stainless steel pin buckle, the La Fabrique Tinkler 1958 Steel balances vintage charm with refined contemporary craftsmanship. Limited to just 25 pieces, it stands as a rare and highly collectible expression of Angelus’s enduring expertise in striking complications.

Precision at a quarter turn

L.A.B. Legacy and beyond

The L.A.B collection—Legacy And Beyond—unites Angelus’s most contemporary tourbillons and chronographs. Building on the brand’s lineage of skeletonised tourbillons first introduced in 2015, it blends ultra-modern architecture with the use of innovative materials.

The Flying Tourbillon Titanium reflects the brand’s modern interpretation of high watchmaking, where technical refinement meets forward-thinking design.

The Chronodate offers a modern interpretation of the classic chronograph, uniting technical sophistication with a bold, contemporary aesthetic. First introduced by Angelus in the 1940s as one of the earliest chronographs to integrate a date function with chronograph complications, it has been reimagined for today while retaining its pioneering spirit.

Engineering Time Without Limits

Throughout its history, Angelus has fused innovation with intent, crafting timepieces that were not only technically sophisticated, but also precisely suited to the needs of their time.
