The ceramics used in this timepiece are created through a refined process of shaping and sintering powdered raw materials at high temperatures. The unique sand colour is achieved by blending zirconium oxide with other metallic oxides in a precise ratio. The dark brown dial and sand-coloured rubber strap with textile inlay perfectly match the case, creating a cohesive look. Powering the watch is the IWC-manufactured 52110 calibre, reinforced with ceramic components and builds up a power reserve of seven days in two barrels – more than enough even on extended missions.
