The ruby egg is 12x9mm in size. The 18 karat rose gold trace chain is 1.5mm wide and 17.5cm long, with the option to adjust the length for a tighter fit. In keeping with Fabergé's fondness for delight and surprise, a hidden Mozambican ruby can also be found at the back of the egg.
