Tutima Glashütte has combined two of the brand’s core elements in the most beautiful form: in one unique chronograph, the new Flieger Legacy T5 unites Tutima Glashütte’s titanium expertise and its know-how in the genre of pilot’s watches. Available with a dial in cool blue or subtle black and with a classic leather wristband or a sporty titanium bracelet, this new chronograph has an elegant, matt grey, shimmering, lightweight yet extremely robust case made of Titanium Grade 5.
This new model introduces the high-tech metal to the successful Flieger family for the first time.

In 1927, Europe was alive with change. The so-called Golden Twenties brought rapid technical progress, the emergence of new art forms such as film and photography, and the rise of jazz, a sound that captured the spirit of a new generation.
Against this backdrop, two companies were established in Glashütte: Uhren-Rohwerke-Fabrik Glashütte AG (UROFA) and Uhrenfabrik Glashütte AG (UFAG). At their helm was Dr Ernst Kurtz, a forward-thinking leader who recognised early on that the future of watchmaking lay not in pocket watches, but on the wrist. Under his direction, the companies produced robust and highly reliable timepieces that could stand alongside the best Swiss creations. These watches were given the name “Tutima,” derived from the Latin for safe and secure, marking the beginning of the brand’s story.
