Gagà Laboratorio - Labormatic Superleggero
The Gagà Laboratorio Labormatic Superleggero introduces a new expression of the Labormatic collection, crafted entirely from Grade 5 titanium for the first time. Limited to just 100 pieces, the Superleggero explores lightness as both an engineering principle and a distinctly Italian approach to design.
Its 42 mm titanium case is paired with laser-engraved sapphire dial sectors, creating a technical, multi-layered aesthetic inspired by experimental racing machines, visionary coachbuilding and the pursuit of performance without excess. The lightweight construction gives the familiar Labormatic architecture an entirely different presence on the wrist.
Powered by the La Joux-Perret G100 automatic movement with a 68-hour power reserve, the Superleggero is completed by a customised rotor, sapphire crystal front and case back, and a technical elastic fabric strap.

The Superleggero Philosophy
The name Superleggero represents more than the physical weight of the watch. It references a distinctly Italian philosophy in which intelligent engineering and considered design come together to create something both functional and beautiful.
That influence can be seen throughout the watch. Metallic surfaces, transparent elements and restrained sporting details evoke the character of hand-built performance cars and experimental prototypes, while the use of titanium gives the Labormatic a noticeably different identity from the existing collection.
Rather than simply recreating the Labormatic in another material, Gagà Laboratorio has used lightness as the foundation for an entirely new aesthetic.

Gagà Laboratorio Labormatic Superleggero FAQs
The Superleggero represents the first use of Grade 5 titanium within the Gagà Laboratorio Labormatic collection, but the difference goes beyond changing the case material. The watch was conceived around the wider idea of lightness, drawing inspiration from Italian coachbuilding, experimental racing machinery and performance-led engineering. Its titanium construction, sapphire elements and technical detailing give it a distinctly different aesthetic from established Labormatic models such as the Cinquanta, Bauhaus, Champagne and Azzurro.
Grade 5 titanium combines excellent strength with significantly lower weight than many conventional watchmaking metals, making it particularly appropriate for a watch inspired by the pursuit of lightness. For Gagà Laboratorio, however, the material also represents the philosophy behind the Superleggero: achieving performance through intelligent engineering rather than excess. Used throughout the 42 mm case, titanium changes how the Labormatic feels on the wrist while retaining the strong architectural presence associated with the collection.
The Labormatic Superleggero is powered by the La Joux-Perret G100, a Swiss automatic mechanical movement providing a 68-hour power reserve when fully wound. Gagà Laboratorio has further personalised the movement with a customised rotor fitted with a ceramic ball bearing. The movement can be viewed through the sapphire crystal case back, allowing its mechanics to form another visual element within the Superleggero's technical design.
Yes. The Gagà Laboratorio Labormatic Superleggero Ref. LMTT-001 is limited to only 100 pieces worldwide. It also marks the introduction of a new family within the wider Labormatic collection, making the Superleggero significant beyond its limited production. Its combination of Grade 5 titanium construction, laser-engraved sapphire dial sectors and distinctive design philosophy sets it apart from the four established Labormatic executions.
