LAUREATO 38 MM DIAMOND SILVER
1975 Girard-Perregaux presented a sporty and original model with an octagonal polished bezel and an integrated bracelet. In 2017, the curtain rose on a new chapter in the history of the Laureato model, becoming a true and complete Collection available in 4 sizes: 44 mm, 42 mm, 38 mm and 34 mm.
In 2017, Girard-Perregaux offered a feminine interpretation stemming from a wealth of refined details. The Laureato 34 is a logical continuation of the story – firstly, in terms of its quartz movement, since Girard-Perregaux was a pioneer in this type of mechanism. Strongly involved in R&D and a benchmark brand for quartz calibres during the 1970s, it became the first – in 1978 – to offer a movement compact enough to equip ladies’ watches.

Every timepiece reveals the mechanics that define it.
The art of visible precision
Girard-Perregaux watches are defined by a distinctive balance of technical mastery and architectural design, where the movement is not hidden but intentionally revealed as part of the aesthetic identity. Rather than treating mechanics as purely functional, the Maison integrates them into the visual language of the watch, creating timepieces where bridges, plates, and gear trains become design features in their own right.
This philosophy is most famously expressed through the signature Three Bridges construction, a structural approach that transforms the movement into a visible, symmetrical composition, blending engineering precision with sculptural clarity.
