The TYPE 10 marks a milestone as the first oil-filled Ressence to be powered by an in-house movement. Designed specifically for this model, the RW-04 self-winding calibre comprises 252 components, with two barrels providing a 60-hour power reserve.
This purpose-built movement brings a new dimension to Ressence’s oil-filled watchmaking, pairing technical ambition with the simplicity of a unified design.

The first oil-filled Ressence powered by an in-house movement, the TYPE 10 brings the brand’s unconventional approach to time into a striking, sculptural design. Limited to 100 pieces, the Dark Night edition offers a distinctive proposition for collectors drawn to independent watchmaking.
Mechanical Ingenuity In Motion
At its heart, the self-winding RW-04 calibre delivers a 60-hour power reserve and drives the patented ROCS 10 display through magnetic transmission. The movement operates in an air-filled chamber, separate from the oil-filled display above. Three inclined satellites create a layered composition, presenting hours, minutes and a second time zone alongside a 120-second runner and colour-coded oil temperature indicator.
Sculpted Titanium, Considered Detail
The 41.5mm polished Grade 5 titanium case features a hard-DLC coating, double-domed sapphire crystals and an integrated rubber strap. Super-LumiNova® illuminates the engraved indications, while winding and time setting are controlled through the caseback. Weighing 82 grams, the TYPE 10 combines intricate engineering with a clean, contemporary presence on the wrist.
