TONDA PF SKELETON PLATINUM MILANO BLUE
Following the steel end rose gold versions, Parmigiani Fleurier introduces the TONDA PF Skeleton Platinum. The dial of this stunning new execution reveals the life of the skeletonized movement with its satin-finished open bridges. The platinum colour of the timepiece contrasting with the Blue Milano dial gives to this version an impacting yet extremely elegant and distinctive appeal.
The art of the skeleton watch remains a delicate exercise, as illustrated by the two new Tonda PF Skeleton watches in 18ct rose gold and steel/platinum. They reflect the spirit driving the Maison when it comes to watchmaking creativity, guided by a careful thought process overriding any other considerations: purity and restraint reign supreme, while the smallest details are explored in depth until the perfection of volumes, aesthetics and added value form a pleasing whole.
Skeletonisation generally consists of opening up the movement as much as possible in order to offer the eye a visual perspective through which to gaze. Parmigiani Fleurier takes a different approach: the artistic open working of the Tonda PF Skeleton must reveal the organic life of the movement and its architecture while preserving its balance and volume.
The artisans have made the most of the solid parts and used the voids to allow light to pour into the very heart of the PF777 calibre. This meticulously hand-chamfered latticework draws the purist's eye in order to grasp some of the mysteries of its kinematics. Airy Overall Structure To ensure the best possible performance, the oscillating weight visible through the transparent sapphire crystal case back is artistically crafted in platinum to become a masterpiece blending in with the airy overall structure comprised of 187 components. The oscillations generated by the wearer's movements help wind the barrel, which is also open-worked and reveals the steady contracting and relaxing of the mainspring driving its balance at a rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

The discipline of refined watchmaking
Parmigiani Fleurier defines its identity through a fully integrated approach to watchmaking, where every stage of creation is carried out within a single, vertically unified manufacture. From design and movement engineering to case construction and dial finishing, each component is developed within a connected ecosystem of specialist ateliers, allowing for complete control over both technical execution and aesthetic direction. This structure enables the Maison to refine every detail with precision, ensuring consistency, harmony, and a distinctly coherent design language across all timepieces.
At the heart of its process lies a philosophy shaped by restoration expertise and applied craftsmanship, where historical watchmaking knowledge informs modern innovation. Multiple in-house specialists collaborate across disciplines, bringing together traditional artisanal skills such as guilloché and enamelling with advanced manufacturing techniques. The result is a collection of timepieces defined by depth, refinement, and mechanical integrity, where each watch reflects a disciplined balance between heritage-inspired artistry and contemporary horological performance.
