The Czapek & Cie Antarctique Tourbillon Cosmic Blue is designed around an extraordinary sense of depth, with the tourbillon, gear train and barrel aligned vertically and appearing to float above the dial. Beneath them, the handmade Singularité guilloché creates a vortex-like pattern inspired by astronomical singularities, intensified by the rich Cosmic Blue finish. Polished angles, openworked bridges and contrasting satin surfaces interact with the light as the watch moves, while the flying tourbillon forms the focal point at the base of the composition. This carefully considered architecture transforms the mechanics of the in-house Calibre 9 into an integral part of the design, bringing technical complexity and visual purity together within the Antarctique.

The Czapek & Cie Antarctique Tourbillon Cosmic Blue combines the sporty architecture of the Antarctique with a newly developed manufacture tourbillon movement and highly distinctive three-dimensional dial. The flying tourbillon, gear train and barrel are deliberately exposed and vertically aligned, appearing to float above the Cosmic Blue guilloché surface. Crafted in Grade 5 titanium and limited to only 25 pieces worldwide, it represents a highly exclusive evolution of the Antarctique collection.
The dial features Czapek & Cie’s registered Singularité guilloché pattern, handmade in 401 ‘Secret Alloy’ and completed with a blue PVD finish. Its vortex-like geometry draws the eye towards the centre and creates the impression of increasing depth beneath the suspended movement components. Rather than being mounted directly onto the dial, the rhodium-plated hour markers are attached to the flange, further enhancing the illusion of space. Super-LumiNova coating provides additional visibility in low-light conditions.
The watch introduces the Czapek & Cie Calibre 9, a manufacture automatic tourbillon movement largely developed, crafted, finished and assembled in-house. Its 191 components are arranged around the principle of exposing the tourbillon, gear train and barrel on the dial side while maintaining an airy appearance. The movement operates at 3 Hz, contains 20 jewels and delivers an impressive 100-hour power reserve. On the reverse, a hand-engraved 5N gold rotor continues the cosmic theme with a pattern inspired by a black hole.
Despite its mechanical complexity, the watch has been designed with wearability in mind. Its 40.5 mm Grade 5 titanium case combines strength with a notably lightweight feel, while the integrated titanium bracelet features Czapek & Cie’s Easy Release and micro-adjustment systems for greater flexibility on the wrist. The watch also offers 50 metres of water resistance and includes an additional rubber strap, allowing the character of the Antarctique Tourbillon Cosmic Blue to be changed more easily.
