The Czapek Promenade Transparencies Aqua Blue transforms transparency into an integral part of the watch's design. Limited to just 38 pieces worldwide, it pairs a 38 mm stainless steel case with a smoked sapphire crystal dial that offers an uninterrupted view into the mechanical architecture beneath.
Rather than using conventional pigment, the Aqua Blue fumé effect is achieved through metallisation. Microscopic metallic dots are applied beneath the sapphire in varying densities, creating a gradient that becomes richer towards the perimeter while retaining exceptional transparency through the centre.
The result is a dial that continually changes with its surroundings, revealing different layers of colour, light and mechanical detail from every angle.

Microscopic metallic dots are deposited onto the underside of the sapphire crystal, becoming progressively denser towards the outer edge. This creates the transition from a transparent centre to a deeper blue perimeter while preserving a clear view of the movement beneath. Each light blue Super-LumiNova hour marker is then applied individually by hand, providing distinctive blue luminescence after dark.
The in-house Calibre SXH7 is an automatic, fully skeletonised movement developed to be appreciated from both sides of the watch. Its architecture features seven openworked bridges inspired by the multi-bridge construction found in François Czapek's historic pocket watches. To achieve the dial-side display, the escapement was reversed and the small seconds relocated to 4:30. The calibre is meticulously finished front and back, features a micro-rotor crafted from 100% recycled platinum and delivers a 60-hour power reserve while operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour.
Although limited to only 38 pieces and finished to haute horlogerie standards, the Promenade Transparencies Aqua Blue has been designed with highly wearable proportions. Its stainless steel case measures 38 mm in diameter and 10.8 mm thick, complemented by curved lugs and hollow flanks that create a refined profile on the wrist. Sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment enhances visibility from both sides, while water resistance to 50 metres adds a practical dimension to this technically sophisticated Czapek & Cie timepiece.
