Laureato Chronograph 42mm Brown with a Clous de Paris

Sale price£21,600.00

A Two-Tone Expression of Sporting Elegance

At the crossroads of architectural design and refined Swiss chronography, Girard-Perregaux unveils the Laureato Chronograph 42mm—a timepiece that brings a warm, contemporary character to one of the Maison’s most recognisable silhouettes.

With its 42mm case crafted from 904L steel and enhanced by a pink gold bezel, crown, and pushers, this creation plays confidently with contrast. The Laureato’s iconic geometry remains unmistakable: an octagonal bezel set upon a circular base, flowing lines, and a seamless dialogue between case, pushers, and strap. Sporty yet sophisticated, assertive yet balanced, it captures the casual-chic spirit of Girard-Perregaux through an unexpected two-tone composition.

Mechanical Performance: The GP03300 Calibre

At the heart of the Laureato Chronograph 42mm beats the Calibre GP03300, an in-house automatic chronograph movement developed by Girard-Perregaux. Designed to drive two chronograph counters, small seconds, and a date display, it combines functional clarity with the smooth, precise operation expected of a high-end chronograph.

Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz and composed of 419 parts and 63 jewels, the GP03300 calibre reflects the Maison’s integrated watchmaking expertise. Visible through the sapphire crystal caseback, the movement is enriched with traditional finishing, including Côtes de Genève, bevelling, straight graining, and carefully executed decoration that underscores the watch’s haute horlogerie character.

A Warm Sporting Signature

The identity of the Laureato Chronograph 42mm is expressed through its refined interplay of steel, pink gold, and brown. The precious warmth of the bezel, crown, and pushers brings depth to the 904L steel case, while the brown rubber strap with Clous de Paris hobnail pattern extends the Laureato’s iconic dial texture into a more contemporary, tactile form.

This balance of materials gives the watch a distinctive personality: technical enough for everyday use, refined enough for elegant settings, and versatile enough to move naturally between both. Its 100-metre water resistance, sapphire crystal, and 12.16mm thickness reinforce the sense of a chronograph designed for real life without compromising sophistication.

Every timepiece reveals the mechanics that define it.

The art of visible precision

Girard-Perregaux watches are defined by a distinctive balance of technical mastery and architectural design, where the movement is not hidden but intentionally revealed as part of the aesthetic identity. Rather than treating mechanics as purely functional, the Maison integrates them into the visual language of the watch, creating timepieces where bridges, plates, and gear trains become design features in their own right.

This philosophy is most famously expressed through the signature Three Bridges construction, a structural approach that transforms the movement into a visible, symmetrical composition, blending engineering precision with sculptural clarity.

The geometry of time

Giraard Perregaux expresses time not as abstraction, but as structure. Measured, visible, and deliberately formed through engineering precision.
