Laureato Fifty 36mm rose gold-toned dial

Sale price£18,200.00

An Original Sense of Proportion

At the crossroads of architectural purity and refined Swiss watchmaking, Girard-Perregaux unveils the Laureato Fifty 36mm—a timepiece that distils the collection’s iconic geometry into a more intimate and sophisticated expression.

With its 36mm stainless-steel case and integrated bracelet, this new creation preserves the distinctive codes that have defined the Laureato since 1975: an octagonal bezel set upon a circular base, flowing lines, and a seamless dialogue between case and bracelet. Its trimmer size enhances the purity of the geometry, allowing the warmth of the precious dial and the subtle relief of its decoration to interact with light in a particularly nuanced way.

Mechanical Precision: The GP4800 Calibre

At the heart of the Laureato Fifty 36mm beats the Calibre GP4800, an in-house automatic movement developed by Girard-Perregaux. Compact and precise, it brings contemporary performance to a watch conceived around balance, elegance, and everyday refinement.

Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz and offering a power reserve of approximately 60 hours, the GP4800 calibre reflects the Maison’s long-standing expertise in movement architecture. Its construction draws direct inspiration from the Three Bridges, reinterpreting these structural elements with clarity and intention. For this release, the balance bridge is crafted in rose gold, reinforcing the movement’s visual depth and distinctive identity.

A Rose Gold-Toned Dial: Warmth and Relief

The identity of the Laureato Fifty 36mm is expressed through its 18K rose gold-toned dial, decorated with the collection’s emblematic “Clous de Paris” motif. This precise geometric pattern brings rhythm and texture to the dial surface, catching light across its small pyramidal reliefs while preserving the clean legibility of the display.

Hours, minutes, seconds, and date are presented with restrained clarity, allowing the dial’s warm metallic tone to become the emotional centre of the composition. Elegant without excess, luminous without ostentation, it gives the Laureato a softer yet unmistakably contemporary presence.

Every timepiece reveals the mechanics that define it.

The art of visible precision

Girard-Perregaux watches are defined by a distinctive balance of technical mastery and architectural design, where the movement is not hidden but intentionally revealed as part of the aesthetic identity. Rather than treating mechanics as purely functional, the Maison integrates them into the visual language of the watch, creating timepieces where bridges, plates, and gear trains become design features in their own right.

This philosophy is most famously expressed through the signature Three Bridges construction, a structural approach that transforms the movement into a visible, symmetrical composition, blending engineering precision with sculptural clarity.

The geometry of time

Giraard Perregaux expresses time not as abstraction, but as structure. Measured, visible, and deliberately formed through engineering precision.
