Laureato Fifty 39mm blue anamel
A New Depth of Architectural Light
At the crossroads of iconic design and refined Swiss craftsmanship, Girard-Perregaux unveils the Laureato Fifty 39mm—a timepiece that brings a new artisanal dimension to one of the Maison’s most recognisable silhouettes.
With its 39mm stainless-steel case and integrated bracelet, this new creation preserves the distinctive codes that have defined the Laureato since 1975: an octagonal bezel set upon a circular base, clean geometric lines, and a seamless dialogue between case and bracelet. Its balanced proportions create a confident yet elegant presence on the wrist, while the blue enamel dial introduces a level of depth and hand-crafted complexity rarely associated with integrated-bracelet timepieces.
Mechanical Precision: The GP4800 Calibre
At the heart of the Laureato Fifty 39mm beats the Calibre GP4800, an in-house automatic movement developed by Girard-Perregaux. Compact and precise, it brings contemporary performance to a watch conceived around proportion, elegance, and everyday sophistication.
Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz and offering a power reserve of approximately 60 hours, the GP4800 calibre reflects the Maison’s long-standing expertise in movement architecture. Its construction draws direct inspiration from the Three Bridges, reinterpreting these structural elements with clarity and intention. Exclusively for this release, the balance bridge is crafted in rose gold, reinforcing the movement’s visual depth and distinctive identity.
A Blue Enamel Dial: Transparency, Texture and Light
The identity of the Laureato Fifty 39mm is expressed through its blue enamel dial, applied to the collection’s emblematic “Clous de Paris” textured pattern. Crafted entirely in-house, the enamelling creates remarkable transparency, depth, and chromatic variation, allowing the dial to shift with ever-changing shimmering light effects.
This meeting of geometric relief and translucent colour gives the Laureato a more artisanal and expressive character. Hours, minutes, seconds, and date are presented with clarity, while the blue enamel surface becomes the emotional centre of the composition: rich, luminous, and deeply architectural.

Every timepiece reveals the mechanics that define it.
The art of visible precision
Girard-Perregaux watches are defined by a distinctive balance of technical mastery and architectural design, where the movement is not hidden but intentionally revealed as part of the aesthetic identity. Rather than treating mechanics as purely functional, the Maison integrates them into the visual language of the watch, creating timepieces where bridges, plates, and gear trains become design features in their own right.
This philosophy is most famously expressed through the signature Three Bridges construction, a structural approach that transforms the movement into a visible, symmetrical composition, blending engineering precision with sculptural clarity.
