Ressence - Type 7 C - Cactus
The Ressence Type 7 C - Cactus brings the brand's unconventional approach to mechanical watchmaking into a lightweight Grade 5 titanium design. Its distinctive oil-filled display creates exceptional visual clarity, while the patented ROCS 7 - Ressence Orbital Convex System – replaces traditional hands with continuously rotating discs that display hours, minutes, GMT and running seconds.
The 41mm titanium case houses two separate sealed chambers, with the upper chamber filled with 2.95 ml of oil. Magnetic transmission allows the mechanical movement to drive the oil-immersed display without a physical connection between the chambers, while an integrated temperature indication responds through colour.
Finished with a Grade 5 titanium bracelet and powered by a customised self-winding calibre with a 36-hour power reserve, the Type 7 C combines Ressence's innovative mechanical architecture with a distinctly modern approach to displaying time.

The future of reading time
A new language of time display
Ressence approaches watchmaking as an exercise in industrial design, where every component is developed around the principle of clarity and intuitive interaction. At the heart of each timepiece is the brand’s proprietary ROCS (Ressence Orbital Convex System), a patented module that replaces traditional hands with rotating discs mounted on a single, co-planar surface beneath a domed sapphire crystal. This creates a seamless, fluid reading of time, where all indications appear to move as part of one continuous system rather than separate mechanical layers.
The manufacturing process is defined by precision engineering and highly specialised components, combining Swiss horological expertise with contemporary design thinking. Each watch is assembled with a focus on integration, minimalism, and usability, resulting in a unified display that eliminates visual clutter and enhances legibility from any angle. Through this approach, Ressence delivers a distinctly modern interpretation of watchmaking—where form, function, and interaction are engineered as a single cohesive experience.
