Mechanical Architecture: The MM02 Calibre

At the heart of the UNIX MU06-102 beats the Calibre MM02, MAURON MUSY’s second movement developed entirely in-house. Equipped with an automatic winding system and a micro-rotor, this calibre reveals a finely structured profile that transforms mechanics into spatial design.

From the micro-rotor to the balance wheel, the movement evokes the sensation of ascending a spiral staircase before plunging into the very centre of the mechanism. Operating at a frequency of 4 Hz and offering a 40-hour power reserve, the MM02 calibre combines finesse, depth, and performance in a movement conceived as both an engine and an architectural composition.

A Celestial Dial: Aventurine and Light

The identity of the UNIX MU06-102 is expressed through a dial that blends purity with poetic depth. Its matt opaline peripheral dial frames a central “Métiers d’Art” aventurine element, creating a luminous contrast between white and celestial blue.

Polished rhodium-plated hands enhance the clarity of the composition, while the small seconds at 6 o’clock reinforces the balanced geometry of the design. Stamped “Swiss Crafted”, the dial captures the refinement of a timepiece where technical mastery and artistic sensibility meet.

nO-Ring® Technology: Innovation in Miniature

Like every MAURON MUSY creation, the UNIX MU06-102 integrates the brand’s patented nO-Ring® technology, a revolutionary gasket-free mechanical sealing system. Designed without traditional rubber O-rings, this direct-seal construction ensures water resistance to 100 metres while removing the need for specific maintenance linked to gasket replacement.

Adapted to the more compact proportions of the MU06, this innovation demonstrates MAURON MUSY’s ability to preserve its technical identity within a slimmer, more versatile case.
