The Czapek Antarctique Desert Rose captures the quiet elegance of desert landscapes through a contemporary expression of haute horlogerie. Presented in a 40.5 mm stainless steel case with an integrated bracelet, the watch features a microblasted sand coloured dial that reflects the warm mineral tones of the desert. Two limited editions are available. A series of 25 pieces carries a unique Eastern Arabic calligraphic index at 12 o’clock created by artist Wissam Shawkat, each accompanied by a signed certificate. A further 100 pieces feature a refined Arabic numeral at 12, emphasising clarity and balance. True to Czapek’s design philosophy, the date display at 6 o’clock maintains perfect symmetry and visual harmony.

The SXH5, Czapek’s In-House Masterpiece

Powering the Antarctique Desert Rose is the SXH5 calibre, the first movement fully conceived by Czapek. Crafted in collaboration with leading Swiss specialists, the movement features a recycled 950 platinum micro rotor that reveals its open-worked architecture. Seven skeletonised bridges echo the elegance of nineteenth century pocket watches while expressing Czapek’s modern identity. A free-sprung balance with variable inertia ensures precision and reliability.

Integrated Bracelet with Exceptional Comfort

The brushed integrated bracelet has been designed for everyday comfort, with each link forming a polished letter C for Czapek. Its ergonomic structure offers a light and natural fit on the wrist. The micro adjustment system allows small extensions for perfect wear throughout the day. The quick-change mechanism enables effortless transitions between the supplied straps. A wide selection of rubber straps featuring the Stairway to Eternity pattern, along with soft calf leather options with contrasting stitching, can be ordered for greater versatility.
