The Arnold & Son Perpetual Moon 41.5 Steel “Colours of the Moon” Green brings a rich new interpretation to the Maison’s celebrated astronomical complication. Limited to just 18 pieces worldwide, its green PVD-treated mother-of-pearl dial and matching moon-phase sky reveal natural, shifting patterns as they interact with the light.

At the heart of the display, a luminous mother-of-pearl moon is surrounded by the constellations of the night sky, individually hand-painted with Super-LumiNova. The innovative use of PVD-treated mother-of-pearl brings remarkable depth to the composition while celebrating Arnold & Son’s longstanding connection with astronomy.

A 41.5 mm stainless steel case houses the in-house A&S1512 manual-winding calibre, delivering a 90-hour power reserve and driving both the astronomical moon phase and secondary moon-phase indicator visible through the sapphire crystal case back.

The Arnold & Son Perpetual Moon 41.5 Steel “Colours of the Moon” Green explores an innovative meeting of natural material and modern technique. Arnold & Son applies a PVD treatment to mother-of-pearl, allowing the material’s natural structure to remain visible beneath its deep green colour. As light passes through the surface from different angles, the underlying layers reveal constantly changing patterns and reflections, giving every view of the dial a different character. Extending the same treatment across the moon-phase sky creates a seamless celestial landscape, while the cool tone of the stainless steel case provides a contemporary contrast to the richness of the green.
