max bill Handaufzug

SKU: 27/3702.02
Sale price£1,175.00

The Junghans max bill Handaufzug pairs the purity of Max Bill’s original design with the character of a traditional hand-wound mechanical watch. Its polished black dial, distinctive rounded numerals and precise minute track create a clean, highly legible display, while luminous hands and markers add practicality without disturbing the restrained aesthetic.

The compact 34mm stainless steel case houses the J805.1 hand-winding movement, offering up to 42 hours of power reserve. Anti-reflective sapphire crystal, a leather strap with stainless steel buckle and water resistance to 5 bar complete a refined watch that stays remarkably faithful to the mechanical designs Max Bill created with Junghans in 1961.

The Art of German Precision

From the Black Forest, Since 1861

Junghans has developed a distinctive design language built around clarity, function and understated elegance. From the architectural simplicity of its celebrated max bill collection to the refined proportions of the Meister line and the more technical character of its Pilot and 1972 watches, each collection expresses a different side of the brand while remaining recognisably Junghans.

Rooted in the Black Forest, the company continues to place German craftsmanship at the heart of its identity, bringing together traditional watchmaking expertise, contemporary design and modern technology.

Junghans describes its timepieces as combining “tradition, fine craftsmanship and modern design”, an approach that has allowed the brand to evolve without losing the restrained, purposeful aesthetic for which it has become known.

More Than 160 Years in the Making

Since 1861, Junghans has shaped a legacy defined by precision, innovation and timeless German design. More than 160 years later, that same commitment to craftsmanship continues to guide every watch the brand creates.
