max bill Automatic Bauhaus

SKU: 27/4009.02
Sale price£1,545.00

The Junghans max bill Automatic Bauhaus combines Max Bill’s timeless approach to design with distinctive details inspired by the Bauhaus building in Dessau. Its restrained dial is punctuated by red accents that reference the building’s famous architectural details, creating a subtle connection to Bauhaus history while preserving the clarity of the max bill aesthetic.

Inside the 38mm stainless steel case is a self-winding mechanical movement, while the case back incorporates a special Bauhaus motif that adds another considered detail to the design. Sapphire crystal, a leather strap and 5 bar water resistance complete a watch that brings together mechanical watchmaking, modernist design and Bauhaus heritage.

The Art of German Precision

From the Black Forest, Since 1861

Junghans has developed a distinctive design language built around clarity, function and understated elegance. From the architectural simplicity of its celebrated max bill collection to the refined proportions of the Meister line and the more technical character of its Pilot and 1972 watches, each collection expresses a different side of the brand while remaining recognisably Junghans.

Rooted in the Black Forest, the company continues to place German craftsmanship at the heart of its identity, bringing together traditional watchmaking expertise, contemporary design and modern technology.

Junghans describes its timepieces as combining “tradition, fine craftsmanship and modern design”, an approach that has allowed the brand to evolve without losing the restrained, purposeful aesthetic for which it has become known.

More Than 160 Years in the Making

Since 1861, Junghans has shaped a legacy defined by precision, innovation and timeless German design. More than 160 years later, that same commitment to craftsmanship continues to guide every watch the brand creates.
